The Public Transport for Passenger is a service that has been guaranteed, in the City of Praia, by the enterprise in the sector, Moura Company. This enterprise, which started its activities in March 1996, with 6 old buses, nowadays relies on a fleet composed of more than 120 vehicles, whose age average is estimated in two years.

The Moura Company Group philosophy is based upon Safety and Comfort of its users and, for, it has a Renewing Plan of its Fleet, which aims at the acquiring of more 120 new units. From the 120 new vehicles, with excellent conditions of safety and comfort, paying attention to the most modern patterns of national and international demands, 60 will go to the tourism sector for the public transport of passengers.

The enterprise has already a Project in hand, and expects in a short term, to guarantee to its users a transport of quality throughout the islands, from their homes to the destination, bringing in the market-place an integral system of transport, recurring to the buses and the new and quick ships – The Catamarans.
